Ohio Program for Campus Safety & Mental Health 
The Northeast Ohio Medical University have created the Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health as a resource center to promote suicide prevention, mental health awareness and stigma reduction at colleges campuses across the state. Checkout Neomed and OPCSMH for resources and grant opportunities. 
The Ohio Mental Health & Addiction Services is offering a training opportunity on Friday, August 16th in Columbus, Ohio designed to educate providers and staff new to mental illnesses. The training isFREE & deadline to register is Thursday, August 15th at 7:00 am.    
The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services sponsored the development of a 23-part online curricula focused on the nature of the addiction, its impact, as well as, treatment and best practices for treating opioid use disorder. Course are FREE and can be accessed on the e-based academy. 
The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation (OSPF) is a free Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) training August 14th in Lebanon, Ohio. The goal is to help attendees understand and learn effective mechanisms to work one-on-one with suicidal patients to create a journey towards treatment and rehabilitation. For more information, contact Austin Lucas.  
NAMI Franklin County holds FREE Family Education Saturday Seminars to provide expert speakers on a variety of current and relevant topics that are aimed to help understand and navigate the complexities around the mental illness. Saturday, August 10th in Columbus, Ohio from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.
The Ohio Children’s Alliance 2019 National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children (TLC) summer training series will focus on structured sensory interventions and healing the trauma of addictions on August 13th to August 14th in Columbus, Ohio from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Introduction to Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or TF-CBT is being hosted by the Ohio Children’s Alliance in Columbus, Ohio on September 5th to 6th. This two-day training is designed to prepare clinicians, social workers, and counselors to start practicing TF-CBT.
