The City of Dayton Human Relations Council’s Welcome Dayton team is planning the fourth annual International Women’s Day Celebration scheduled on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Grace United Methodist Church, 100l Harvard Boulevard, from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. International Women’s Day is an annual celebration empowering women from different cultures and backgrounds to integrate and learn ways to take care of themselves emotionally and remove barriers that prevent them from achievement or personal growth.
There will be workshops focused on self-expression through music, art, and dance; along with a motivational speaker and multi-cultural entertainment. Lunch will also be provided. In addition to the workshops, there will be a Resource Fair, and we invite your organization to participate, sharing resources and information about the services you provide. We also offer space to vendors.
This year we will be funding this special and popular event entirely with contributions and sponsorships (donations). We ask that organizations that would like to participate, or vendors, contribute a minimum of $50 per table.
