LNESC is excited to introduce the Ford Fund Scholarship, a new program for two- and four-year college students pursuing STEM-related career areas The rapidly evolving landscape of Electric Vehicles and Advanced Manufacturing Industries has reflected that the need for qualified professionals in STEM fields is greater than ever. The scholarship goes beyond tuition and covers various indirect costs vital for program completion. This empowers students with essential Future of Work skills and ensures their sustainable success beyond graduation. This includes technology, professional skills building, and much more!
Eligibility:
- Cumulative GPA of at least a 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Majors including but not limited to various engineering disciplines, data/IT, cyber-security, automotive technician training, skilled trades, robotics, and math/science related to IT and sustainability.
Targeted Areas:
Buffalo, NY
- Chicago, IL
- Cleveland, OH
- Detroit, MI
- Kansas City, MO
- Louisville, KY
- West Tennessee
Two-year students can qualify for up to $3,000 and four-year students can qualify for up to $5,000, with funds disbursed directly to students.
