The Ohio Latino Affairs Community is excited to share with you several funding opportunities that can empower non-profits, schools, community organizations, local governments, and individuals. This month, grants vary from focusing on enhancing public spaces to providing critical services to underserved children.

Below you may find details on six grants currently available, ranging from support for youth-led volunteer projects to funding for behavioral health services for children. These grants reflect the diverse needs of Ohio’s communities and we strongly encourage eligible organizations and individuals to apply for all available resources.

Reinventing health care in 2023 | STAT
Eligible organizations or individuals are highly encouraged to explore these grants and apply to all available resources. Grant’s featured in this week’s newsletter include:

Strategic Prevention Framework- Partnership for Success for Communities, Local Governments, Universities, Colleges, and Tribes/ Tribal Organizations

Amount: $13,408,701

Eligibility: State Govt., City Govt., County Govt., Non-Profit, Higher Education

Application Due Date: December 31st, 2024

Summary: The purpose of this program is to support non-profit organizations dedicated to developing innovative projects, disseminating ideas, and/or providing direct care or services for children with special needs, acute illnesses, or chronic disabilities.

Community Impact Grants

Grant Summary: The purpose of this program is to support nonprofit organizations proposing projects that strategically align with the funding agency’s core areas of focus. The funding agency ultimately seeks to address food insecurity, nourish an inclusive culture, and make an impact on hunger.

Summary: This is a funding opportunity for institutions of higher education; state and local governments; nonprofit school districts and organizations and public health organizations to apply for AmeriCorps members to strengthen communities through service.
