Job Summary:
Natures Own Landscaping, a reputable landscaping company specializing in hardscaping and landscaping services, is seeking a skilled and experienced Hardscape Foreman to join our team. The Hardscape Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and leading hardscape projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and managing a team of hardscape technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardscaping, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of hardscape technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Execute hardscape installations, such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures, ensuring adherence to design specifications and project timelines.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess project progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the design team to interpret and implement landscape plans and hardscape designs.
- Coordinate with clients and provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project costs and manage resources efficiently to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain and operate hardscape equipment and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in hardscaping techniques, sharing knowledge and implementing improvements as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardscaping, with a proven track record of successfully managing hardscape projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of hardscape materials, techniques, and construction methods.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting landscape plans, blueprints, and design specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
